You Can Make A Difference

One of the essentials in life next to God and material things is education. It helps you a lot in life what you wanted to pursue.

Education is not a piece of cake formula to be successful. You have to go through many stages of studying to achieve your goals and your dreams in life. You'll encounter lots of obstacles and struggles. Different levels in schooling from Nursery, Kindergarten, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, College Degree, Masters Degree, PH. D, etc., and learning doesn't stop right there.

Imagine the parents' time, efforts, and money to pursue the dreams for their children, to assure them of a great future, isn't easy. The majority of parents worked hard, spent sleepless nights to earn a living, and gave their children the best of what they could do. Examples are expenses for transportation, allowances, payments of boarding houses, food, tuition fees, school uniforms, corporate attire, and tours or retreats before graduation. A lot of money is spent on just one child to send to school.

Some were serious in their studies. They are the ones who are motivated to do everything for their education and recognized the efforts of their parents. Others attend school for allowances and are not so concerned with their grades. There were also a lot of working students out there. They work while studying. They were most responsible because of their realization about the essentiality of education that their parents could not send them to school due to financial stability. Some of them felt sleepy in the classroom, but they got high grades during exams because they learned to manage their time efficiently. They were the ones who quickly mature mentally and emotionally because of actual and practical applications of what they learned in academics.

By studying hard, you can make your parents proud of you and give worth to their sacrifices. But, of course, parents won't expect you to pay them back. Instead, they want their children to be successful in their studies.

Education is essential and, at the same time, expensive, but it's all worth it when students and parents do "teamwork to make the dream work."
